Floor Light A805 "Angel Wing" is a timeless classic that Alvar Aalto designed in 1954 for the Helsinki Social Insurance Institution. The asymmetrical shape of the shade is reminiscent of an angel's wing, hence its nickname. The luminaire creates a soft and pleasant light around it, making it perfect for creating an atmosphere in a living room, bedroom or dining room. The shade of the A805 Floor Light is made of thin, lacquered metal strips, and the black leather finish of the stand is hand sewn. The top of the stem is available in polished or nickel-plated brass.
