Shipping and Payments

Shipping information

Artek online store delivers to the following areas: the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland. Please note that for orders delivered to the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland, the customer is responsible for taxes, customs duties, and any possible additional costs.

All items are shipped from Finland and transported by our trusted partners. Our delivery partners are Posti, DSV, FedEx and UPS. Products will be shipped no later than the next business day after the order is placed.

Standard shipping is free of charge for orders over €150. For orders under €150, the delivery cost is €10 (converted to local currency). All products are shipped with Standard delivery, which takes approximately 2–5 business days. Small shipments are delivered to the nearest pick-up point. Large shipments are delivered to the home address, but delivery does not include carrying the products inside the apartment, product installation, or removal of packaging materials.

Please note that your order may arrive in multiple shipments if it includes several items or if a product consists of multiple parts, such as a tabletop and legs. Shipments may also arrive on different days. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment.

We only deliver to locations with good transport connections. If an order is placed to a location where delivery cannot be arranged, such as an island without ferry access, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Payment Options

In our online store, you can choose the payment method that suits you best. We use secure and user-friendly payment service providers: Paytrail, PayPal, and Shopify Payments.

Paytrail Plc

Paytrail Plc acts as a payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will appear as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website to which the payment was made.

Through Paytrail, you can pay using the following methods:

Card payments – You can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Debit Mastercard, and American Express cards. The online store uses international Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode, and American Express SafeKey authentication services.

Mobile payments – You can pay using the MobilePay, Google Pay and Siirto applications.

Online bank payments – Available through the most common Finnish online banks, including Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Savings Bank, S-Bank, and Ålandsbanken.

PayPal

With PayPal, you can shop without a credit card. This payment method requires a PayPal account, enabling fast and easy payments.

Shopify Payments

Shopify Payments is our e-commerce platform’s built-in payment processing service. Through it, customers can pay by credit or debit card as well as via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay, which require creating an account.
