The Artek team aspires for this online store to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2 at conformity level AA. However, this online store does not yet fully meet these guidelines. The Artek team aspires to continually improving the accessibility of this online shop until it meets all guidelines.

Known limitations

We know about the following accessibility problems of the Artek Online Store and are working on improving them: 

- The tab order is not correctly linear on all pages.
- The accordion module in the main navigation for product pages is not ideally usable using screen readers.
- We currently do not offer content in simple language or sign language.
- Many images are missing alternative descriptions for screen readers. We are actively working on adding these descriptions to more images.
- Not all text links are highlighted and focused properly and coherently.
- Headline hierarchies are not coherent and correct on all pages.
- The contrast of some UI elements is not intense enough to be easily readable.
- Some forms are missing correct labels.
