Bench 168B was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1945 and is crafted from Finnish birch. Bench 168B is equally at home in public and private spaces. Versatile, the bench can serve as seating, storage or display and is equally elegant positioned standing alone, against a wall, in combination with a bed or with Table 83. Lightweight and easy to move but still sturdy enough to withstand years of service even in heavy-use environments. Bench 168B is available with a solid top. Delivered unassembled in two Carry Away packages, with felt glides installed.
