Artek + Hender Scheme on japanilaisten nahkakenkien valmistajien ja suomalaisten koivuhuonekalujen tekijöiden yhteistyö, jossa tekeminen jatkuu niiden käsissä, jotka elävät esineiden kanssa. Suomalainen koivu ja kasviparkittu luonnonnahka yhdistyvät, ja materiaalien luonne tulee vähitellen esiin niiden ikääntyessä omistajansa mukana.
