Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1947, the lightweight frame of the sophisticated Armchair 45 is embellished with details in natural materials. The chair's birch-framed seat has a check-stitched leather upholster. Armchair 45 is equally suitable as a dining chair, a desk chair or a lounge chair. This Artek Helsinki Special version has a lacquered birch frame, natural-coloured leather upholstery on the seat and leather threads on the armrests. Delivered assembled.
